The 70
degree weather in December is something I will never complain about
while living in NC. For enduring such scorching summers there has to be
some plus side to winter, right? If you want snow however, you
indeed must seek it out and head for higher ground. For this trip we
headed to the outskirts of Boone, NC to enjoy a few days of "mountain"
life. A cabin, snow tubing, and no cell service within 5 miles. It was pure bliss. We highly recommend it.
