Our sweet Kadyn turned six today. This year she was interested in having a party. However, two days ago we placed our house on the market and Mom wasn't all that excited to have ten six year olds running rampant. Lucky for us her face lit up when we offered the idea of taking a few friends to the Incredible Pizza Place the Saturday prior and leaving today to celebrate as a family with presents and cake. Both celebrations worked out perfectly.
We can't imagine how we'd get by without Kadyn. The kindness and love she constantly shows her sisters and brother is inspiring. She is truly a peacemaker and a wonderful example of service. We are so very grateful to have her in our lives - Happy Birthday Kadyn!

We all received an additional "gift" for Kadyn's birthday when this came falling to the ground and school came to a screeching halt for two days.

I know it's not much but when I walked out the front door to take a picture my immediate thought was, "Now this is more like it!" We had a great time playing in the snow and enjoying the excitement of winter. Having said that, we are also very excited to once again experience beautiful flowers, 80 degree weather and enjoy the excitement of spring and summer.
