What an incredible experience for Haley J!

You really couldn't ask for anything more. 

A wonderful, insanely talented cast who were the NICEST people EVER to our kiddo!

So very grateful for these experiences of growth and learning. 

Thanksgiving '24

Thanksgiving was a little different this year. The Little Mermaid opened with a bang and the following week (Thanksgiving week) five cast members including Haley tested positive for Covid. They had to cancel a few days of shows but by the following weekend were up and running full speed ahead. Thus, the Ballard Thanksgiving was quiet, calm, and quite lovely. Steven, Azure, and I drove up to Parker early Thanksgiving morning and ran their 5K turkey trot. Then we returned home for a quiet meal and a nap. Later we enjoyed Wicked and pumpkin pie back at home. It was a fantastic Thanksgiving with MUCH to be grateful for. 

                                                         

           

Thatcher's First Four

Thatcher has been serving for almost 4 months now.

He spent his first 12 weeks in Hermiston, OR, in a trio companionship.

Their apartment had 6 Elders living there with 3 sets of bunk beds.

He loved it.

Hermiston is a tiny town where the missionaries could spend their days helping families on their farms or in their homes. 

They would also walk the streets and ask if anyone would like to know more about this man...

He loved it.

 

Fall Fun '24

We had a few more days with the older girls, so we partied hard before they returned to BYU.

Thatcher arrived in Kennewick, WA safe and sound.

The little girls performed in Willy Wonka and all the Fall decorations went up. 

Haley turned 16, got her licence, and went to HOCO!

Movies, Dions, and treats galore. 

Halloween.

Soccer, many walks with Raxtus, and Little Mermaid rehersals began. 

Dial M for Murder, the cousins gather in Provo, and a few nights of Pickleball.

The Jim Gaffigan show, Grandma loving on the newest Hailey Jay, and SNOW galore!
