From mid July until school started we wrapped up summer with lots of pool days, game nights, and friends over to play. Our nephew Matthew returned from a 2 year mission in Oregon, Steven cooked some amazing meals, and we enjoyed final bike rides and park days as Colorado temperatures began to lower. It was a great end to wonderful summer days.

Thatcher's Birthday
This boy turned 14 years old last week. We took our first "risk" and jumped at the trampoline house where only small groups of kids were being let in. It went well. Our family also attempted our first restaurant since Covid began and ate at Red Robin. We later celebrated with pie and presents at home. Thatcher is a sweet boy and we're so grateful he's been sent to our family.
Happy Birthday Thatcher!
Super Summer
I was a little worried, but our social distancing summer has been AMAZING! The pool we go to has done a great job keeping families distanced and numbers low. The weather has been incredible for park visits, fishing, and bike riding. And last but not least, we've had numerous late nights for movies, treats, and of course board games.
I LOVE the laziness of summer!
