Successful Spring

Spring trekked forward and so did we. To keep things fun we took lots of walks, played lots of games, and celebrated as many holidays as possible. Azure played soccer, enjoyed 4th grade field day, and played outside often with friends. Steven and I both celebrated birthdays, Haley and Thatcher rocked their Spring piano recital and I spent a weekend in Park City with roommates from my days at Ricks. Haley got to participate in a theatre show about the woes of quarantining and Kadyn performed in The Curious Incident of the Dog, then turned around and landed the roll as Little Red in Village Arts summer musical Into the Woods.

Spring Break '21

Spring Break was wonderful, relaxing, and needed. We even got Ryley for the week.
We ate treats, played games, and did a ton of activities.
It was awesome!

Jan./Feb. '21

I struggle with January. It's cold, its back to routine, and there are no holidays. So, as soon as Christmas decorations come down, which varies year to year, Valentine's decor goes up!! Hearts, love, and pink are everywhere. We make treats, go fun places, and step by step make our way through jaded January. February comes and it's always fantastic! We enjoyed Kadyn's 17th birthday with a movie, dinner, all day shopping, and of course presents and ice cream. Valentine's Day arrived shortly after. Making a fun dinner with multiple desserts makes my heart so very happy. Steven did The 14 Days of Valentines for me, which I loved and appreciated so very much. We also made certain that Ryley was not forgotten and her box of love arrived just in time.
