July '19

We took FULL advantage of our summer free days in July as well! Numerous days at the park. Mining for gold at the Museum of Mining. Movies and fun restaurants. Haley with her horses, and this month, she learned to canter! Fourth of July with favorite friends. Summit. Pool, pool, pool! The North Pole because you have to at least try running into Santa in July....we did...he found us eating ice cream. The Springs Trampoline Park. Games galore. The Henry Awards, with The Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center winning Outstanding Season for a Theatre Company! The Fine Arts Center Season Awards with Haley winning Outstanding Performance by an Actor Under the Age of 18 as Matilda in Matilda! And last but not least, the boot came off. The boot Kadyn wore faithfully for five weeks to heal a stress fracture caused from her miles of running. We have one word for August....hiking!

June '19

Summer finally started! I LOVE summer. I LOVE not being "owned" by a schedule. It's my favorite time of year! 

Thus far we have found some great restaurants and treats, played at the park multiples evenings, painted, and found a cool mini golf. We saw Barnum the Musical, flew kites, and have played tons of board games. Azure tried her hand at theatre and did awesome! We sought out lots of ice cream shops, enjoyed the Summit arcade, and have spent numerous days at the pool. 

That was June, bring on July!

A special day for these three cuties.

Awesome Azure

Azure turned 8 years old last month. Kadyn hosted her party and made the cake. Ryley bought and wrapped every present. Steven and I sat back and enjoyed all of her smiles and giggles. We are so grateful Azure is apart of our family. She has a fantastic little personality, is always looking for kids who need a friend, and loves to snuggle. We love you Azure Blue.
