October is military appreciation month at The North Pole so we packed up Friday and headed off for a full day of adventure. The weather was beautiful, the lines were short, and the rides were the perfect amount of twirly and swirly for Ballard kiddos stomachs. It was a fantastic day.
“Noble and great. Courageous and determined. Faithful and fearless. That is who you are and who you have always been. And understanding it can change your life, because this knowledge carries a confidence that cannot be duplicated any other way” -Sheri L. Dew

BYU Homecoming '17
We spent Homecoming week at BYU and it was AWESOME! We hiked the Y, ate lunch at the Creamery, then roamed the book store for a few hours. Afterwards we headed for the stadium and Steven got the great honor of running the American flag during opening ceremonies. We then walked over to the George Q. Cannon and he had the opportunity to fire it off towards the end of half time. While in the area we had the chance to visit the Provo City Temple, The Church History Museum (which was amazing), and enjoyed a fantastic dinner out with my siblings and most of their kiddos. It was a weekend to remember. Go Cougars!
