The weekend before school started we head down to Albuquerque for a visit with Grandma Darden. We experienced Meow Wolf in Santa Fe, ate at Gardunos and Blakes, played at my old Elementary school (John Baker), and had a crazy good time at Hinkle Family Fun Center. We enjoyed Sunday dinner with Mrs. Way, one of my favorite Math teachers from high school, and spent the evening going through scrap books and remembering all of our wonderful memories from Eldorado HS. It was a fantastic weekend visit and a wonderful way to wrap up summer.

Cousins In Colorado
Aunt Julia and her family came to visit us towards the end of July and we couldn't have been more excited. We went to the zoo, hiked Garden of The Gods, and hiked Helen Hunt Falls. We played games, ate, and had fun just hanging out/chatting. We enjoyed their company so much and hope they consider making their visit to Colorado an annual event.
Exciting Eleven
This cool kid turned 11 in July. He enjoyed racing at the track, lunch at Red Robin, and getting his hair cut in style. We putt putted, enjoyed Captain Underpants at the dollar theater (because that's all I will pay), and ended the evening with a Triforce cake and presents galore. Thatcher is a sweet boy who does a terrific job of watching over these four sisters surrounding him. We are so grateful for his goodness and tender heart. Happy Birthday Thatcher!
Southern Utah '17
After a wonderful week in Northern Utah we headed for the heat of Southern. Our first adventure was hiking 16 miles through the narrows. It was definitely a "bucket list" experience. We hiked a few different trails in Zion's with the kiddos and enjoyed lunch at the lodge. We hiked The Red Cliffs with our cousins, played numerous games with them, and enjoyed swimming in Grandma and Grandpa's pool. We went to see Cars 3 and enjoyed our favorite custard at Nielsen's. It was a great end to our Utah vacation.
