We had a fantastic trip to Northern Utah with family and friends. We went to the Zoo, hit waffle love (a few times), and enjoyed a day on BYU campus. We spent an entire day playing in the sun at Cowabunga Bay and ended it perfectly at our favorite restaurant Zupas. Every night ended with numerous games played at Aunt Liz's and/or Uncle Johns house. It was a great start to summer!

Summer Fun 2017
Countless days at the pool, hiking with friends, movies in the park, and some crazy competitive pickle ball tournaments. Numerous evenings playing line tag at the park and riding bikes around our "special path", Denver's Museum of Nature and Science (twice), and just enjoying some good old fashion R&R. It was an AWESOME summer!
Right In A Row
April starts us out on a crazy amount of celebrations one after another. Steven turned 42 and two weeks later I turned 39. Our anniversary of 15 years followed just two weeks later and shortly after was Mother's Day. It's always a fun filled month that we thoroughly enjoy each year.

Changed My Mind
This summer I hit my 9th year of keeping a Ballard family blog. Every
third year I have had the blog printed so that each kiddo can have a
copy to keep of their very own. After having the final three years
printed I decided to give Chatbooks a try. While I like the books and
pictures, I have come to the conclusion that I don't like them enough to give up our
family blog and the books we can give each kiddo to keep forever. Thus, I'm going
to backtrack and update our blog with all of the happenings of the past six month. And here we go.......

Spring Break '17
We were lucky enough to enjoy part of Spring break in the 505 and part at home in the Springs. In Albuquerque we went to El Pinto, rode the tram, and enjoyed all of the parks that I loved going to as a kid. We also visited the temple, saw Beauty and the Beast, and made out like bandits at Hinkle Family Fun Center. Once home the older girls and I enjoyed a fun day of lunch and shopping. We filled the remaining days at Sky Zone and Denver's Museum of Nature and Science. It was a FANTASTIC Spring Break and has made us SO very excited for summer!
