Southern Utah Visit '13

We're back. Over 5,000 miles later (luckily most of it by air) we have returned home from two amazing weeks surrounded by parents, siblings, and cousins. It was awesome. It was wonderful. It makes us want to say, "Goodbye military, hello family"! J.K., although for a few shorts moments we did daydream about the idea. Our time was enjoyable and well spent. Zions, countless days swimming, and picking fruits and veggies from Grandpa's garden was just the beginning. We enjoyed a play at Tuacahn, giggled a lot watching Turbo, and loved spending time with cousins at their house and park. Steven and Dad rode bikes, we got silly at the fair (ask Thatcher), played lots of board games, and ended the trip with a fun visit to the Vegas Children's Museum. The kiddos cried when we left and neither Steven or I could blame them. It's wonderful to be near family and difficult to let them go. Thank you to our Southern Utah family. It was a wonderful trip that we'll never forget.

Utah Visit '13

I have a sister and brother that live near Salt Lake City and another sister that drove in with her cute family from Denver. For five fantastic days we were all together and had a wonderful visit. Along with lots of great food, games, and cousin craziness, we played at Airborne, Temple Square, BYU, Hogle Zoo, and Smurfs 2. It was an amazing visit that we won't soon forget. Once again our kiddos cried as we drove away from their cousins. We pray for the day we can live closer to our sweet families. Until then, Southwest Airlines will have to do! Thank you to our Utah family for a wonderful time.
